Erica picks her Top 5 all natural products – It wasn’t easy!

This was soooo hard! How do I choose just five items? The products I have purchased from Oh Natural over the last 6 months have become a part of my everyday life and improved things for me, my family and the planet…and there are a lot more than five. With much deliberation I finally managed to narrow it down to my absolute everyday essentials and favorites. Read on…

1. Santosa Lavender Grapefruit Good for Everything Spray

Who ever thought a cleaning product could make you feel happy? I use my Santosa Good for Everything Spray on EVERYTHING. Windows, benches, toilets, dirty highchairs, floors, ovens and more. It smells amazing, the bottle is beautiful and the message on the front actually serves as an important daily reminder to be mindful. I love that I can wipe surfaces that my toddlers touch and not worry about harsh chemicals.

2. Lily Bee Reusable Food Wrap

As a family of four with two little ones, we live off leftovers in our house. Last nights veges get covered over with these wraps as do halved avocados, cut pineapple, half eaten bits of fruit, left over bread rolls, baguettes and so, so much more. I also love covering dishes with these wraps when I am transporting food to BBQ’s and picnics. I not only love that they reduce waste but they actually wrap much more securely than the plastic options.

3. Holistic Hair Salt of the Earth Spray

This is the best hair product I have ever used. Hands down. I have straight and thin hair but am obsessed with achieving the perfect messy, beachy waves. Not a great combo. With this salt spray my hair holds curls and looks perfectly tousled. I spray through my hair straight after a shower even if I am not curling my hair and it just adds the perfect amount of texture.

4. Ere Perez Carrot Colour Pot for Lips and Cheeks in ‘Hello’

Red lipstick is my go-to. Someone once described my style as “Strappy silk and red lipstick”. I used to use Lady Danger by MAC but really disliked the taste, the chemicals and how it dried my lips out after one application. I found it tricky to find the perfect all natural red/orange hue – until I came across ‘Hello’. The carrot colour pots can be applied as sheer or deeply as you like and actually make my lips feel lovely. I have since converted quite a few other grateful red lipstick wearers.

5. Black Robin Karma Camellia Moisturiser

After the birth of my son a year ago, my skin went haywire for some reason. Oily and dry simultaneously, random breakouts and eczema. This moisturiser really balances things out. It’s light yet effective. The bottle design is gorgeous too which is a bonus.

I am very passionate about what Oh Natural does and has to offer. My close friends and family have all become regular shoppers and we are all better off for it. As a creative person I have to say one of my favourite things about natural products (after the fact that they save the world of course) is the beautiful packaging. I love all the hand drawn illustrations, earthy colours and
creative packaging materials. You just know from looking at them that they have been made with love and care.
