Why the Hello Cup?
The Hello Cup is proudly made and designed in New Zealand using top notch medical grade TPE (a type of plastic) imported from Germany. We feel strongly that when it comes to your vjayjay, you only want to put trustworthy stuff up there (sound advice from our grandmothers). Yes, there are other menstrual cups out there, but not all cups are created equal. The Hello Cup is in a league of its own.
The Hello Cup comes in two sizes: S/M and L
The Hello Cup comes in two sizes – S/M and L. We also have a Hello Cup TEEN.
Working out what size you are can be tricky – we are all so different! The Hello Cup TEEN is slightly smaller and softer than the S/M. It is designed specifically for younger users. Our most popular size is the S/M. As a rule of thumb we recommend the S/M for women who are under 35 who haven’t given birth. Fit women often find the S/M is best for them regardless of age and whether they’ve had children. The L is a good choice if you have given birth, are over 35 years old. Sometimes it’s a case of trial and error. For example, if your S/M Hello Cup is opening but you get leakage, you might need to go up a size. On the other hand if you find your L won’t open – you might need to go down a size. If you are unsure of size, we recommend getting a double box to help take the guess work out of things. Our ‘pick ‘n’ mix’ option allows you to purchase a Hello Cup box with any two cups in it for $69. Many women find they can wear both sizes so opt for the smaller sized Hello Cup on light days and the larger one on heavy days.
The diameter of the S/M is 41mm and the overall length, including the toggle, is 59mm. It holds 21mls (to the holes).
The diameter of the L is 45mm and the overall length, including the toggle, is 64mm. It holds 28ml (to the holes).

I wasn’t sure what size menstral cup to use for the first time and I didn’t want to send $$$ on the wrong size for me. So it is AMAZING that you get a small and medium size for the price of one ( doing my research some other brands are $$$$$$$$) so you can try both sizes to get the right fit OR have a small for a lighter flow and a medium for a heavier flow. I really love these cups and highly recommend them. Plus they are a kiwi brand so great to support them!!

I saw so many great reviews on this cup & being NZ made with such pretty colours I decided to buy it. However, it just wasn’t for me, I found the cups were too hard/firm for me and I had a really hard time with inserting them (I also really didn’t like the stem). After doing more research I now know I should have gone for a much softer cup.
Really gutted as I wanted to like these so much. I also found their website a little vague compared to the other menstrual cup websites which are chocka full informative.

Takes a bit of time to learn how to use the cup properly. But once mastered, it makes menstruation so much easier. No odours, leaking, rash or plastic waste. I use reusable pads/liners for a better peace of mind. And I’m really grateful for the helpful online support for women.

I have used other cups before with mixed results (often had leaking issues) but the hello cup is incredible! Zero leaks, perfect fit, super comfortable. Love that it is made in NZ too.

THIS HAS CHANGED MY LIFE!!! I was so skeptical at first, but they are so easy to use. Can keep them in over night, I’ve had no issues in terms of leakage or anything. 10:/10 will recommend to anyone and everyone.

Love this cup!! I was a bit nervous at first and it took a couple of tries to get used to it but a menstrual cup is life changing! Love love love that you can wear them overnight with no stress, I’ve never had any problems with leakage or anything. Definitely recommend – if you’ve been umming and ahhing trying one give it a go!!

First of all, this is the cutest cup I’ve even seen! Before the Hello cup I was using Lunette which is a much softer cup. The Hello cup is quite a bit firmer and takes a little getting used to. Once you get used to it, it is amazing! I’ve had no leakage at all using this one, I highly recommend it! 🙂

I really wanted to love this cup. It is absolutely beautiful and I love everything about the brand and what they want to achieve. However, I found the cup far too firm for me. It was hard to insert without leaks and if I did manage to pop it in properly I really struggled to get it out again. I’ll try again with a softer cup.
