Giving Back
From the beginning, I’ve wanted Oh Natural to be more than just a brand.
Skincare might seem like a small thing in the grand scheme of the world, but if we can make this brand a little vessel for good in some way - then that matters.
We’re still a small business, but we’re committed to building giving back into the way Oh Natural grows. Some things are already in motion, and others will come over time as we’re able to do more.
Here are a few of the ways we’re trying to do that.
Paying it forward to support
Women's Refuge
Through our partnership with GoGenerosity, customers have the option to donate at checkout to support Women’s Refuge New Zealand.
You can also choose to donate your loyalty points if you’d prefer.
Women’s Refuge can then redeem that value on Oh Natural products to help support the women and families in their care.
It’s a simple system, but it means small contributions can quietly add up to something meaningful.
Our collaboration with
Joyya
Some of our mini kits are packaged in beautiful cotton pouches made by Joyya, a social enterprise creating opportunities for communities affected by extreme poverty and modern-day slavery.
Each pouch is crafted by artisans building new futures through their work.
They’re made from organic cotton and lined with upcycled sari fabric, which means no two are ever quite the same.
It’s a small detail, but one that carries a much bigger story.
Supporting
Woven Earth
We’ve also begun donating Oh Natural products to Woven Earth, an organisation that helps create safe, welcoming homes for families who have escaped domestic violence.
Their work focuses on turning empty spaces into places that feel comforting and lived in again.
Whenever we’re able, we send products to be included in those homes - small things that might help someone feel looked after during a difficult transition.
Looking ahead
Giving back isn’t something we want to treat as a campaign or a headline.
It’s something we want to keep building quietly into the fabric of the brand.
As Oh Natural grows, we’ll keep looking for ways to support people, communities, and organisations doing meaningful work.
