Oh Natural COVID 19 Update

These are troubling times for the world and our hearts go out to everyone affected by COVID 19. Here at Oh Natural, we are in the fortunate position to be able to continue running our small family business during this time. We haven’t made this decision lightly and we are very aware that there are so many businesses out there that are not able to continue operating and our hearts go out to them. Last year when we went to Alert Level 4 we called the government helpline to get confirmation about whether we could continue operating and they confirmed we could for the reasons outlined below so, as we move to Alert Level 4 we will continue operating unless we are told otherwise.

We are a small family run business and we run Oh Natural from our family home in Christchurch so we are able to continue operating while we are in full isolation and lockdown. Couriers will be picking up and dropping parcels off with contactless delivery & pick up and we will be working in total isolation from our home. We appreciate your patience and understanding while we navigate our lives and business during this unsettling time.

Oh Natural provides some essential products such as personal care, cleaning and sanitary items which we feel are important to continue to provide for people during this time using a contactless service. Being an online business we are able to offer people the opportunity to buy them without leaving their house and we hope that by doing this we can play a (small) role in providing customers with some essential products during this unsettling time without having to leave their house.

Will there be delays to orders being sent out?

We use Courier Post to deliver your orders, and as they are part of essential services that will continue to operate, we can continue to deliver your orders. It is possible that due to increased demand for courier services, possible staff shortages and the need for social distancing for courier services that there may be some delays to orders being delivered. We are all doing our very best to get your orders delivered to you as soon as possible and we appreciate your patience and understanding during this uncertain time as there may be delays to your orders being delivered. We are working together with Courier Post to provide the best possible service we can so your patience and understanding are very much appreciated during this unsettling time.

Are you restocking products?

We will be restocking products where we can and where suppliers are able to send stock to us. In the meantime you can click “notify me” on the product page to be sent an email when a product is back in stock.

Is it safe to receive packages?
Yes, NZ Post have received advice that indicates that the risk of transmission of COVID-19 through mail and parcels is low. COVID-19 is largely transmitted by respiratory droplets, so while surface transmission may be possible there is not good evidence that this is occurring to any extent in operational environments where physical distancing, use of face masks, hygiene and safety work procedures and environmental factors are in play. We do recommend you practice good hygiene regularly to stay safe and well.
