Key ingredients

Bamboo for the absorption of sweat and sebum – absorbs 200% it’s own weight in sweat and oil. Also increases both antiperspirant effect and smell reduction by 28% and 40% respectively.

Magnesium hydroxide is the wonder ingredient for keeping the stench away. It prevents the growth and proliferation of bacteria (who’s excretions cause the BO smell) by altering the pH of your skin (not enough to cause irritation though).

Zinc Oxide is anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory.

Jojoba & sweet almond both aid in the lovely soft application, as well as soft underarms.

Directions

Apply to armpits after showering as well as before and after exercising (or as required). A little bit goes a long way so you don’t need to use much.

Tip: To keep the bar fresh, store in an airtight container.

On the plus side, this is my favourite smelling of all the deodorants I’ve tried and it works… buutttt, it crumbled repeatedly which was really annoying and as a result didn’t last that long and I have to question the lavender ‘colour’ of the stick – necessary? I really didn’t enjoy having lavender coloured armpits.

This is the first natural deodorant I’ve tried. It smells great and is easy to use. I found that I need to apply quite a lot to get it to work for me and apply again throughout the day. Overall I’m really impressed and won’t be going back to packaged deodorants again!

I can’t how good this is. It’s probably the 6th natural deodorant I’d tried, and I’d pretty much resigned myself to going back to chemical supermarket brands… But NO! It’s amazing! It really works! Even my partner is shocked, as I’m a heavy sweater… I LOVE IT. And it has lasted me 6 months for 1 block. Can’t recommend it enough. In saying that, deodorants seem to be individual to each person. Of the previous 5 I tried, some of those worked for my friends. So don’t give up! Keep experimenting!

Great natural baking-soda free deodorant for sensitive skin. I had been using the Black Chicken Axilla paste for several months but it recently stopped working for me (?). Glad to find another great smelling alternative!

Last month in Europe was very hot so my partner and I used this deodorant daily. We cut it in half to share it and after a month we still had about half of our piece each! It smells amazing (not strong) and feels good on the skin. No itch and no bad smells. Great for travel, no plastic waste. We’ll definitely buy again!

This has to be my all time favourite product. I wish I’d changed from my regular deodorant sooner. Not only does this work better, the smell is absolutely Feb one. I look forward to using it every day and will keep it in my beauty regime forever
