Key Ingredients
Theobroma cacao (cocoa) butter – Cocoa butter is a fantastic emollient, meaning it forms a great protective barrier on the skin to leave it soft, nourished and hydrated by preventing trans-epidermal water loss. We use organic, fair trade cocoa butter sourced from cooperatives in Ghana.
Orbignya oleifera (babassu) seed oil – Babassu oil is light, non-greasy oil that comes from the Babassu tree- an Amazonian native. Perfect for moisturisers as it’s prevent trans-epidermal water loss (which leads to dry skin) without being heavy or greasy, and it is chock full of antioxidants. Our babassu is wild harvested by predominantly female work force, where it is an important supplementary income. Our source (as we do not work directly with the producers) pays a fair price upon harvest and also distributes profit to produces upon sale.
Cannabis sativa (hemp) seed oil – Our hemp seed oil is NZ grown and produced and is full of essential fatty acids, making an excellent choice for hair and skin. It is free from any psychoactive compounds.
Jojoba esters – Jojoba esters are derived from jojoba oil. It is a supremely smoothing, lightweight emollient that moisturises and promotes healthy, hydrated skin and hair. It also helps our bars to stay firm, without the need for waxes.
Directions:
- After shampooing, slide over the ends of your hair.
- Put the bar down and massage the conditioner into your locks. Leave for 1-2 minutes.
- It’ll feel super lightweight on your locks and even better once you rinse!
